Hey! Those unafraid of Eros… (including dance and maybe a little philosophy)…
We live in scary times. Descartes’s divorce of body and soul has “top-down” social implications. “Eros & Amara Sol” (a limited series) challenges Descartes. With Montaigne, Plato, Marx. Cutting-edge erotica. Dance. Ancient Greek mythology.
My pen name is “Renaissan.” I have a background in Kant, Plato, Marx. I’m blessed to teach philosophy at a community college. But I want to take philosophy out of the “ivory tower” so to speak. Share it through a classic story. Based on:
- The Greek myth “Eros & Psyche.”
- The novel Emmanuelle.
- Plato’s Symposium.
- Cosmopolis by Stephen Toulmin.
The first minute and half of the series:
Not only is this a culture critique (with a Platonic anecdote), it’s a philosophy of sex. There’s nothing wrong with “eros” (despite today’s ubiquitous censorship of sex and body). As a result of the censorship, I have to post episodes on Fanvue. Fanvue allows steamy content, and A.I. (A.I. lets an ordinary person make movies.)
The internet also democratizes publication. I love how Charles Dickens published his novels as serialized parts first. Likewise, my plan is to publish Amara’s story as bite-sized parts… before putting it together as a whole.
You can follow Amara’s Fanvue for free and buy episodes. Subscribe, you get extra stuff. Feel to at least follow her for free. Link below her pic:

I’d love for you to be a part of this. We can make a better world together.
