2-Minute Animatic Trailer

I did the voice over, but it’s supposed to come from Amara (the protagonist). The music is Bach’s Fugue in C Major from his Well Tempered Clavier, Book 1.

Diane Bell inspired this. She had never directed before, but made a concept trailer to raise financing for her movie Obselidia (which Sundance accepted). She shot scenes of conflict. No sound. She used music and voice-over in post instead.

I want to raise financing for the feature, and I haven’t directed yet. So, I wrote a script, but I wasn’t sure if it worked. Before I spend saved-up money, I drew the drawings and put them together in iMovie. I’m excited now to shoot it.

The trailer’s more about theme than plot.
