NOTE: Amara plays all three roles: “Amara,” “Hyle” and “Winged Amara”
- Archetype: Shadow.
- Age & Physical Traits: Amara plays Hyle. Hyle is always dressed an accountant. (The self-image Amara is “supposed” to be.) Hair pulled back in a bun. Looks wealthy, very upper class.
- Personality: Agitated, anxious, quick to anger.
- Background:
Hyle is Amara’s self-doubt, and superego. Superego: what you’re supposed to do according to society. Self-doubt: the negative voice within.
Amara met Hyle in high school after learning a person’s worth equals status.
Hyle encouraged Amara to commit suicide at age 24. After having spent 5 years in the sex industry, Hyle told Amara that her life was worthless.
Barely escaping suicide, Amara made a pact with Hyle to become an accountant. To do so, Amara vowed to cut sex and dance from her life.
- Goal: Sabotage Amara’s audition. Remind her of their vow of no sex and dance. Remind her money (to become an accountant) is a “higher” path.
